Rice with Mussel (Kavala )
1 kg of mussels
1 clove of garlic
2 tablespoons of butter
1 tablespoon of grated tomatoes
2 cups of rice
1 teaspoon black pepper
Wash the mussels. Take a pot and simmer for 4-5 minutes with half a glass of water and a lemon juice. Filter the water and set it aside.
Thin shore of Sivribiberi. Crush the garlic. Take the tomato grated paprika, garlic and butter in a saucepan and cook for 6-7 minutes on low heat. Add 6.5 cups of water and salt and mix. When the water starts to boil, add the rice and mussels and cook on low heat until the water is removed.
When rice is cooked, cover with a cotton cloth and let sit for 5-10 minutes. While it is hot, serve with plenty of black pepper.
