Kebab is a kebab in love with the eggplant prepared with big size meatballs that you prepare and fried in advance. The fried aubergine strips in the recipe are wrapped and wrapped in meatballs. This recipe, also known as the toothpick kebab, is quite easy to make, and its look is quite painful.

Ingredients

4 pieces medium eggplant

For meatballs:

For sauce:

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 pieces tomato

1 tooth garlic

1/2 cup (crushed) hot water

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

Key point

Minced meat in medium fat; depending on your taste you can mix some lamb with ground beef, you can take twice. Meatballs rested for a long time will be much more delicious.

How to?

Slice the peeled eggplants into long thin strips with a sharp knife. Soak in salted water to remove the pain.

Place the medium fat beef in the mixing bowl. Add the grated onion, egg and breadcrumbs, garlic, salt, pepper, chili and cumin.

Knead the meatballs for about 10-15 minutes until they are smooth.

Separate the pieces of meatballs slightly larger than the six walnuts. Cook the meatballs you roll on your palm by turning them upside down in the pan.

Rinse the water of the eggplants resting in salt water and rinse in plenty of water. Dry them with a paper towel. Fry the oil in the pan you face upside down. Remove excess oil with the help of a paper towel.

Cut the green pepper from the stalks into four equal parts. Cut cherry tomatoes in half.

Place two fried aubergine strips on the serving plate with the shape of a plus. Put a fried meatball in the middle and close it. Place a piece of green pepper and cherry tomato on top and attach with a toothpick. Place all the meatballs in the same way as on the eggplant strips and place them on the oven tray.

For sauce; an olive oil in a small sauce pot. Cook the grated tomatoes and garlic. After adding salt and pepper, boil for 4-5 minutes and remove from the stove.

Transfer the prepared sauce to the baking tray. Serve the kebabs in a preheated 180 degrees oven for 30 minutes and then serve it hot.
